Claim 2 -- High Profits
High profits are "when individuals are willing to buy commercial sex, they create a market and make it profitable for traffickers to sexually exploit children and adults or when consumers are willing to buy goods and services from industries that rely on forced labor, they create a profit incentive for labor traffickers to maximize revenue with minimal production costs" ("Why Trafficking Exists | Polaris Project | Combating Human Trafficking and Modern-day Slavery"). The human traffickers use any chance that they get to make money. There are people who are willing to pay high price for females who are sold. The fact that buyers will buy girls for their pleasure, makes the human trafficker "happy" because he gets all the profit. Individuals who need labor done for cheap cost are also root causes of human trafficking. When there is a lot of work to get done and the pay is too high, they would rather force the labor on others who are most likely getting paid poorly.
